A320 Type Rated Indian Pilots

• Captains

  Minimum Total Flight Time:   3000 hrs.
  Minimum Pilot-in-Command Flight time on A320 family / A330/ A340 Aircraft: 300 hrs

  Minimum Total Flight Time:   700 hrs.
  Minimum Co-pilot Flight time on A320 family / A330 / A340 Aircraft: 300 hrs

• Junior Co-Pilots

  Indian National
  Indian DGCA issued CPL  with Multi Engine Instrument Rating Indian
  A-320 Endorsement in the License 
  A-320 Instrument Rating should preferably be valid or should not have lapsed for more than 01 year on the date of application
  Valid COP/RTR and FRTO Licences
  Valid Indian Class I medical certificate
  Fluency in English - both written and spoken
  

Non-Type Rated Indian Pilots

• Transition Captains

  (Pilots with civil command experience)

Minimum Total Flight Time:                                3000 hrs.
Minimum Pilot -in -Command Flight Time :    500 hours on commercial multi-engine jets OR
                                                                                 1000 hours on commercial multi engine Turboprops.
Maximum Age: 55 years.

 

• Senior Co-pilots

  (pilots with ATPL and civil experience)

Minimum Total Flight Time:                               2500 hours.
Minimum co-pilot flight time:                             1000 hours civil experience on Commercial Multi engine jets OR
                                                                                1500 hourscivil experience on Commercial Multi Engine Turboprops.

Maximum Age: 50 years.

* Glass cockpit experience will be preferred

 

• Senior Co-pilots

  (pilots with ATPL and  NO civil experience)

Minimum Total Flight Time                                2500 hours

Minimum Pilot-in-command Time                   800 hours on transport category multi engine jets OR
                                                                                1300 hours on transport category Multi Engine Turboprops

OR


Minimum experience on fighter jets                 2000 hours

 

Maximum Age 50 years on the date of application

*Pilots with Glass Cockpit experience will be preferred

Note:

• Pilots must have current DGCA ATPL, FRTO, RTR, Class 1 Medical, valid ratings and an accident / incident-free record (last 3 years) at the time of application.
• Candidates applying for A320 Co-pilot position can have a Current DGCA CPL.
• Candidates possessing DGCA approval as A320 Check Pilot / Instructor/ Examiner on A320 and having a minimum 6 months recent experience in such capacity may be considered for such positions.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Must have a valid Dispatcher’s Certificate/License.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years experience.
• Open to work in rotating shifts.
• Ability to read, write & fluently speak and understand the English language.

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable CAR (CAR) and corporate directives.
• Ensuring the proper monitoring of the progress of each flight with respect to its departure at the point of origin and arrival at its destination, including intermediate stops and diversions therefrom, and maintenance or mechanical delays encountered at those points or stops.
• Ensuring that the Commander (PIC) is provided with all information necessary for the safety of the flight.
• Operational Control of the aircraft.
• Maintaining the necessary knowledge of IndiGo procedures for the proper conduct of Operational Controls and Flight Dispatching.
• Enroute flight, navigation, and communication procedures, including procedures for the release or continuance of flight if any item of aircraft equipment required for the particular type of operation becomes inoperative or unserviceable enroute.
• In the absence of the Flight Dispatch Manager or Director of Operations advise the Commander (PIC) of emergencies and determine and record the Commander’s (PIC) decisions. This includes the responsibility to notify flight crewmembers through the flight following system or air traffic control, while in-flight, of potential danger when passengers on board an airplane are known or believed to have been involved in a hazardous materials spill. If communication with the Commander (PIC) is not possible, the Flight Follower may declare an emergency and take appropriate action.
• Only releasing a flight when authorized by the Director of Operations.
• Executing a flight release setting forth the conditions under which the flight will be conducted. This may require coordination with Captain (PIC) of the flight.
• Recording flight times and crew duty times.
• The Assistant Manager - Flight Dispatch reports directly to the Manager - Flight Dispatch
